There’s nothing like a little Paintertainment to get a party going. Cary Campbell and Paulo Lopes bring creativity and sass to any special event.
We hired the Whistler-based artists to bring their roaming characters to the Go Media Welcome Reception up at the Roundhouse on Whistler Mountain.
The Miss Whistler and Miss Blackcomb costumes debuted at the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola launch. They’ve made appearances at various community events, including the recent Athlete’s Village Open House.
Fantasy, colour, glitz and glam. Cary can create anything based on your budget; from sexy nude models, covered in paint to elaborate fantasy characters like Fire and Ice, the Elements, Mermaids, pixies, forest creatures, and Bond girls.
If you’ve been to a Whistler event, chances are you’ve seen a Paintertainment character. You’ll find Cary and Paulo’s creations at many parties throughout the year, including the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation gala, Cornucopia, ArtWalk and other Whistler Arts Council events. They’ll even add a little animation to a party by “blinging” out guests – or, in the case of a WORCA bike party, helmets – with jewels and paint.
One of their most recent projects was for a local who competed in the infamous Chainless A-Line Phat Wednesday race in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. In the spirit of the event, he decided he wanted to have his race suit painted on his semi-naked body. Now that’s baring it all for sport.
